Starting with a great onboarding experience, everyone at NGA receives professional and technical development and career pathways. Our global My Learning Experience portal also includes unlimited access to an array of online learning modules.

Our proud association with organisations such as Engineers Australia and the Australian Computer Society also enable our Engineering and IT cohorts to access funded memberships, registration and credentialing services.

We also run a range of tools and courses to make sure every team member is supported by a great leader.

Learning From Each Other

Our talented team love sharing their knowledge through regular lunch and learns, mentoring sessions and local networking events.

Our Past & Present Military Personnel, Women's International Network and Young Professionals Employee Resource Groups provide supportive environments to share stories and information. And our quarterly All Hands meetings ensure everyone is aware of our progress as a business and our future plans.

Flexible Work Arrangements

We have a range of flexible working patterns including a four and half day week/nine day fortnight, hybrid working and remote working.

Leave options include up to two weeks’ Purchased Annual Leave, and generous Paid Parental Provisions for Primary Careers and Supporting Partners, including continuing superannuation contributions whilst on leave. A day’s annual paid volunteering leave is also offered, and additional paid leave is available for Defence Reservists, Emergency Services Personnel and for when domestic circumstances are difficult.

Our health and wellbeing team run a comprehensive program of national and local events throughout the year as well as a variety of tools to help you make the most of your physical and mental health.

There are also times when you need to talk, so all employees have 24/7access to Compsych, our confidential Employee Assistance Program provider.
